Bachmann investigated for possible campaign finance violations
Congressional investigators have launched a probe into possible campaign finance violations by Michele Bachmann’s presidential campaign.
In a brief statement to MPR News, Bachmann’s lawyer, Bill McGinley, said Bachmann was working with the Office of Congressional Ethics. He said there are no allegations that the four-term Republican congresswoman was engaged in any wrongdoing.

Bachmann has withdrawn her dual-citizenship.

DFL redistricting map pits McCollum against Bachmann
A redesigned congressional district map proposed by the Minnesota DFL Party on Friday would put Democratic Rep. Betty McCollum and Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann in one district beginning next election.
McCollum’s chief of staff called the map “hyper partisan and bizarre.”

Ed Rollins’ departure has taken more of a toll than we anticipated.
I would submit that this subservience to the Tea Party will only strengthen the hand of the President and make Republican members of Congress appear to be weak and so intimidated that they cannot or will not represent the best long-term interests of their district.
